4/17/2023: Our first full day in Bend.

The good news is that there was no alarm today! However, the bad news is that the furnace has decided to call it quits on our trip and needs to be replaced.

A few weeks ago, the furnace had some issues, but Andy was able to diagnose and fix the problem. Unfortunately, yesterday it started acting up again. When turned on, the furnace ignites and starts a fan, but it shuts off anywhere between 2 and 30 seconds later. After checking the sail switch Andy installed, which was doing its job correctly, he decided to call in an expert. The technician checked everything he could, but after all the diagnostics, he recommended a new furnace. Now we're waiting for the call back to get an estimate and a time frame. Luckily, we have a space heater in the RV, so it's not the end of the world.

Despite the furnace troubles, we were able to enjoy a few nice walks today. This afternoon, the snow started falling again, and it was beautiful. I actually enjoyed the snow falling during my walks.
